Hello everyone,
We have a date (apologies for short notice) for Mike's celebration of life:
Saturday, March 14, 2009
1:00-3:00 - or however late
1444 Begbie Street (Jo Vipond's house)
across from Stadacona Park
Mike's Mom and sister, Sheila will be coming up from Washington for the day, and many others from all crazy corners of Mike's life will be showing up. If you are reading this and don't know any of Mike's friends and acquaintances, please don't feel inhibited. There will be friends from school, work and family. Many of us won't know eachother but it's an opportunity to share a few stories, laughs and recollections of Mike and his spirited life.
If able, please bring some food to share and if you wish to toast with a glass (1:00 was never too early!) please bring a bottle.
If you have photos or items that remind you of Mike (songs, too), please bring them for a temporary Mike memory table.
And Grant Henderson is bringing the guitar!!
We will be putting a small ad in the TC this week to let others know.
