- I feel I am a well rounded woman, I have done a lot, experienced more than most at my age but I do love life.
Mike has been one of our family since the "kids" were in junior high. We always knew he would achieve his dream to be an astronaut one day but didn't realize this would be the way he would reach the heavens. Mike, you always were unique, it's why we loved you. I remember you coming into the house and within minutes you would hear my voice, "MICHAEL!!" (you being your loud and obnoxious self) and your response would always be, "It's okay Mrs. McMillan, I'm going" - it's why we loved you. We wouldn't hear from you for a while and then you would drop by or telephone and it was as if it were yesterday - it's why we loved you. You came to live with us for a while and I was amazed at how easy you were to live with - it's why we loved you. You fought so hard to be a good parent for Tiffany - it's why we loved you. You helped Joanne when she was in dire need - it's why we loved you. We are lucky to have known you. Tiffany you have a wonderful father that you can be very proud of and who loved you very, very much. Michael, you were so brave keep this to yourself so we would not worry about you - it's why we love you still and you will stay in our hearts and memories forever Joe and Barb McMillan
